August is an experienced rigger and rope enthusiast and a great friend, and we’ve both been able to tie each other, and I’m the only person to have been lucky enough to suspend him. He placed a lot of trust in me, both being a bigger guy and new to suspension bondage, and I got to seem him soar into subspace while he was in the air. It’s a privilege to guide someone into discovering parts of themselves, experience new emotions, and defy gravity, and we were able to do all three.
